A great gift for a loved one! Add your names on a 1" circle charm and your anniversary date on the penny. Penny has “I still do” stamped on it. A heart is stamped around the year on the penny. Let me know what year you want on the penny in the message box that comes up during the checkout. I have pennies from 1950-current year. Due to limited number of pennies for each year there many be variances in the color/patina of each penny. I try to use the cleanest looking pennies I have in stock.

**Please note that these items are hand stamped meaning that I stamp each letter one at a time. So please do not expect the letters to be perfectly straight or centered. The process is very different from traditional engraving, which carves a light groove into the metal. Stamping is a more forceful technique, where each individual letter, number and symbol is stamped by hand, one at a time with a hammer and steel stamp. This is much deeper than engraving and therefore, there will probably be a slight impression on the other side.

I recommend avoiding water for most products as it can wash the black ink out of the lettering. However if your lettering starts to fade simply refill them with a black sharpie and remove the excess ink with either a "Sunshine Polish Cloth" or a paper towel dampened with rubbing alcohol.

Copper, brass, sterling silver and nickel will patina over time and can vary depending on use and exposure to body oils. The naturally occurring, ageing process for these metals has a lovely look and aesthetic and is not considered a defect but part of the beauty and appeal of the metals. If you prefer to keep your pieces bright, a sunshine polish cloth or other jewelry cleaners with do the trick.
